Honda CBR1000F Immaculate!

Due to a change of job and circumstance, I'm having to sell this beautiful CBR 1000F Hurricane! Manufactured and sold in 1987, this Super Sports bike has been spoiled all the way through. Has only seen light use in its life which is reflected in the present mileage which is just under 29k miles* The bike is almost totally original, the only thing that is different is the addition of a full stainless steel Scorpion exhaust system complete with receipt and warranty book. The plastics are in excellent condition, the paint is still rich and vibrant. The engine is smooth and responsive with no untoward knocks, rattles or vibrations. The gearbox is precise and positive with no slipping between gears and no crunching. The chassis is also immaculate with no damage at all The photos alone do not do this motorcycle justice, but I intend to strip it down to take photos under the plastic skin to show just how clean this machine is. The tax is due at the end of december and the mot isn't due for update until May 31st 2011!! The CBR has recently had fork seals, brakes re-worked, new chain and sprocket, new Avon Azaro rubber, new clutch, service and obviously that stainless steel exhaust system which offers a nice bark without being deafening or intrusive. This is the first CBR 1000 I've had the chance to ride and I was so impressed, not only by the condition and the power delivery, but the handling. For a heavy bike it handles with such grace that country roads and even town riding become an absolute joy! This bike would make a beautiful daily runner, but would be better suited to a collector of classic japanese bikes as the condition really is too good to use for a winter hack!!!!! Insurance is cheap as chips too with it being a classic!!! I'm open to sensible offers in swap or px (Ie: No jetskis, TVs, Iphones or spaceships..I need something for daily use) Ideally looking for a nice, mid sized car, but almost anything considered Cash price £1195
